Hi is it possible to disable the pop up blocker on the Samsung GT-S8000/S8003 Jet Dolphin Webkit Internet Browser? If so, how do you do it? TIA! :D

The Omina II has a 65K color TFT screen but the JET has a unique OLED 16M color screen! but I agree that the lack of third party apps is a huge letdown for the jet.

1)does this phone support word and adobe reader to read files?
- Yes, it supports doc and pdf files. It has all the basic features to read text files.
2)can pictures be saved from it's internet browser?
- Yes, it can. Press and hold on the picture and click the page icon when it pops up and select Save Image.
3)how's the battery life? (using it as a main mp3/video player)
- Hmm. Some complain about poor battery life. But i have been fine. If you will use your mobile for mp3 and video extensively, i would maybe 2 days?
4)how does not having (much) 3rd party apps affect the user's experience of this phone?
- Depends on the user. Jet is no iPhone. Basic features can be added with Widgets but they are very limited. Jet is filled with features that you would want from a Smartphone. Above that, it does not support any apps like the iPhone.

I think the battery they decided to put up with the device was not the best choice. My guess is that it's the processor that's eating up your battery life. They should have placed a battery with more oomph to keep up with its processor. Thanks for the heads up. Not getting this phone.
