Hi,
I have an EASYNOTE SB85-P-006 laptop. It was a real bang for the buck until the video chip failed. This seems to be related to a defect that was found in the Nvidia 8600 chip - the same chip that is found in some Macs. At least Mac had the decency to recall these laptops. But, as far as Packard Bell, it proves to be a challenge to contact their support team as the exclusive distributor here in the Philippines has changed and there is no contact listed anywhere in their website. Their forum has been unavailable for months now, which I think is a deliberate attempt to prevent owners from learning of such defect.
Hope any one can give their input on how I can get this sorted out with them.
